I again write you a few hasty liens hoping hoping they may finde you and our little ons well this is Sunday and I down in Camp to day I have been staying or Boarding at a Private Boarding House Close to our Camp I have been very Buisy while here and have not done mutch either I sent you Fifty Dollars by Bill Angle he saide he would take it and give it to you I think I will get som more money to morrow if so I will sende it to you I owe Newt Burwell one hundred and fifty dollars and if I send the money I want you to Pay him and / get my notes of him and destroy them that is all the money I owe any Person what money is left take good care of it but I know you will do so I want to try and save money enough to Build us a House on that land. how I wish I was with you to day it does apeare to me as if I could not Stay away from Home this Summer Home is continualy in my minde if Possible more than ever before you can Pass off the time mutch better than I can as you are with the children how soon we will leave here I do not know the Colonel says we will leave next Tuesday. the greater Portion of the Boys are gone to church but I will not go to church untill / I get Home and can go with my Malvina the only Woman I can love on this Earth
you must Excuse me my deare one for writing as I do for I am writing to you just as I feel and think for I have just been long enough away from Home to apreciate the worth of a good and kinde and loving wife but you know Malvina I have always loved you but never was there a man on this Earth would do more for a woman than I would for you I would freely Sacrifise my life for for you or your wellfare or that of my children I know I have got my faillings but thank God I have got a wife that I love better than I do my own life and I know she knows some of / my faillings and is ready to forgive them Say to the children I am well and have not forgoten them tell Ema I have not forgoten that dress if she continues a good girl untill I Return yours
