Deare Wife
                        I write you a few hasty liens hoping they may finde you well as for my selfe my health is good we have moved camp up the River about 12 mile no letter from you since the one dated the 15 of May please look in my trunk and you will finde a little Book or two of them made like a Copy Book like Boys take to School I think they are Rolled up so as to be round they contain Clothing account Maile one to me the last one dated for 1863 that is the one I want I do not one want the one for 1861 and 1862 pay the Mail Postage on it and send amediatily the mail is going to leave so I must quit writing for this time I will write again to morrow or the next day you will finde those Books in my olde Army Trunk they give a list of Clothing Isued to the Men I am geting it for Gordon he put some Clothing acounts on the little Book last Winter when I was at Home if you can not finde the one with Clothing isued on it in 1863 do not send any
