Dear Wife and Children
I just got home from the store and as I am alone (as I expect to be most of the time) I will write. last night the musicl comitee met at 9 o clock & we never got through untill half past Eleven Oclock we organized a new choir I am going to look after them this sunday & then Prof Mygrantz the Leader of the band will drill us we will have a good choir I think Mr & Mrs Wiley went out to the country this a m with Mr & Mrs Phillips & will not be back untill to morrow Eve. I have not seen Al since you left he has been working over time / & I dont know where he boards Claudie & I are at Kit Parsons Reasturant & I must say the set a splendid Table for a Reasturant Tell the boys Main Street is finished tell them I will send them some papers Saturday or Monday If I dont forget it I looks very stormy out to night ithink we will have more rain hope I may hear from you tomorrow morning that you are at home all safe & having a good time now write often I will be anxious to hear from you
try & spend a day a Newville with Father if you can get up there. Good night
