I must say a word in answer to your letter and am glad to see that you are improving in your manner of writing, but there is a chance of improvement. I have not received that letter with Uncles picture in it but should like to very much. tell Fred that when I get home if I get a furlough I shall make quite a soldier of him & Johnny I hope they both will be well I concluded not to draw that building but have sent you a picture of my ward (D) but it is full of mistakes But I only did it to take up the time. You have written me some news; which was very interesting, I am glad business is good. I suppose there has been funny operations home, You have a sight of the letter I have written so I will not say eny more
