                        Camp Reno April 8, 1863
 
Frank I write in A hury to inform you that our things is all put oup and Redey for A march I dont know whear But it is A crost the Bay we cross to day as fast as the Brigade can crost I dont care whear tha take me to if I onely have good health. my health is not good now I cant But jeast walk A round now I shall go with the regement eny how I never will stay Behind not as I can git one foot A head of the other as for going into A Battle I dont care one snap a bout it But you had orter see some of our Boys play out some sick some the Bellyake and some play oup lame tha cant walk and all kinds of complaints we have got some of the Damdist cowards with ous you ever saw. well I must write to you that you must do as I wretten in the letter Before this with the mony and Be sure and lett mary A Delia Boy have 25 Dolars and mary A Delia have half of the Bounty land I wrote in the other letter the perticklers A Bout it and the amount what was Due me if I dont Return A gain you must do as I have writen to you and Be A good Boy Be kind to your mother and take advice from her also your sister and she must be kind to you. I dont know when I shall write Again it ma be never this ma Be my last. But I hope not. you must Read over the old letters and think whear I am and how I suffer for the comfort of life part of the time not half A nough to eat sleep on the ground it is to bad to write so I will stop the solgears dont write half as Bad as it iss in the army tha hate to for it would make thear friends feel Bad I have onely given A little tutch of it I no more time to write give my respects to all Frank Dont Be A Niger for no one use Every well and with Respeck Be not saucy to Eny one
