Franke I have arived at Brashear City once more arftear A march of four hundred miles I never Rode one Bit of the way I am puty mutch wor out I cant give you the discription of the march now I will in the next letter I have no time now I have got to git my close washed and clean my self oup for to morrow we go to neworleans and from thear tha say we go to port hudson if we stop at New orleans one day I will write the whole discription of our march and the train of Nigears that we had with ous Back the train was seven miles long my feet are vary soar I gaind streank while on the march I have no time to write to day I receved your letter dated may the 7 and the almanack to I was glad to git it for it looks nateral to see one from oxford I have got the gandears puty Bad yet I am puty yelow yet did you git my letter may the first has Mr Lewis got my chek I sent may the first it was sixteen dolars I have not heard from him whither he has got it or not write to me whither he has got it or not Elisa you wrote that you had no close to go to meeting with call on Mr Lewis and git you some mony and git you some close I shall send A nother check in A shorte time if you git that I have sent write soon good By to all of you
