Dear Frank
            Your Sister did not receive your last letter till day before yestrday or she would have written & forwarded your Trunk before. We were all glad to hear from Alvin that you were in good health & spirits. I am workg for Martin now, going to work through haying. I have not seen Alvin yet but am going up on Satrday night the weather is terrible hot here I can assure you. Mr Fish is going to have a barn dance in a week or so
 
Your Sister is in such a hurry getting your trunk ready that she had not time to write so I am writing for her I wish I was with you I should like it first rate be sure and write us a good long letter I will write you a long one in a few days but have not time now /

P. S. You will be sorry to hear that Martin has either lost or had stolen 20 dollars he put his Pocket book in the Bureau drawer and did not find out his loss till some time after he had took it out again & consequently does not know how he lost it.

Dont forget to have your picture took if you possible can this at at your Sister particular request and send one she wants to see how you look now when I get through here I should like to come out where you are write & let me know of where there is anything / that would suit me I am eternally G—d D—m sick of sawing
