Dear parents
yours of the seckond was receeveed and red with much pleasure and it found me well and I hop these few lines will find you all injoying the same blessing you sent me one dollar and it is not worh any thing here and iwill send it back in this letter well there is nothing a going on here of ay importance only the wether is very warm here we was all out on the fourth of July and had a good time they had a Pick Nick and some of the boys went but I stayed in town and William Hanlin and my slf was a going to go to Monkton Station but we couldent get our passes and dident get to go /
Well I am on poleese this after noon and I will soon half to go and I will close for the pesant Give my best wishes to all of the in quireing friends from your sun George
