                                                                                                                        Dear parents I
seat my self to answer your kind welcome letter which I receeveed this evening and was glad to here from you and to here that you was well your Letter found mee well and the rest of the Boys the same we was Just a quessing hoo would get letters this evening Ben said he would and we said we would and we all got some and ben none Ben has not had any from home since Newyears the did in tend to Bee at home on Newyears but the furlous is stopped for 30 days and he gets the first one that comes to / the Company well mother you can tell Father that I will send him all the money that i can raise when we are payed off but they are a talking of not giving us any this time for it took all to pay the Vetterens But tell him if he gets hard up tell him to Let mee now and I will get it and send it to him I can get it from Thomas Butler and then pay him when I get payed off nothing more at presant from your Dutifull sun George W Carter
