                                                                                                Dear friend I take this
pleasent oppertunity to In form you that I am well and I hope thoes few lines will find you the Same and your famly I rescieved a leter from my wife and it stated that you had warned hur out of the houes and if she dont go out that you will thro hur out in the street be caus she would not pay all of hur rent I would of liket it beter if you had mentiond it to me when I was at home for it was your place to do so I think that 18 dolars was to much for your houes and lot and onely ocupying one roome if it had been the hole houes I would of not said eny thing a bout it but as my wife rentent the / houes I will pay the rent and if you want to rent your property I will give 18 dolars for the hole houes and lot the first day of April in advance Just as soon as the artickel is made i will get a man to tend to it that lives now in Mills Borough or if you want to ocupy one part of the houes I will exchang with you and pay you whats right for the ues of part of the houes and i will pay all the back rent up I want you to answer this leter as soon as you get it and let me no what you will do so as i can send money home to pay the rent let me no how much back rent is a coming to you if you make up your mind to let me have the houes let me no and I will exspress the money to the man that will get the artickel /
I will let you no all a bout when I get a leter from you
 
I must bring my leter to a close fr the present requesting you to answer soon with out fail
