Well Parents. I
seat my self this sabbat morning to scribble you a few Lines to let you know how I am a getting along I am well at presant and hop those few Lines may find you all in Joying the same Blessing the rest of the boys is well also well father it is some what Cold here now but it is better than to halve it muddy some time ago we could scarceley get around Camp for the mud there is some snow on the ground now well father the Boys seems to think agood deal of the boots that you sent there ose one of our boys bought / A pair of boots at the sutlers and gave 7 50 cts for them and he ofered mee 4 dollars to trade with him but I could not see it I could of sold 30 or 40 pair ifi had of had them a newyears they are a paying from 7 50 to 9 00 dollars for horse hide Boots here when Benjamine maCulliak seen his boots and tried them on he said for mee to say what the prise was if it was 20 dollars he would take them and I told him that I thought 10 dollars was a bout right he said yess plenty low enough well father I wish you would send mee / some stamps there is nothing of any im portance to right a bout from your dutiful sun George.
