seat my self this morning to scribble you a few lines to let you know here we are a getting a long I am well at presant and hop those few lines may find you all in the same good healht I receeveed them things that you sent mee all right Benjimine Mculiahs boots fit to and I let him halve them for 10 dollars and he will pay mee when we are paid we was mustered yesterday / and then will sind it to you I was at Corps head quarters yesterday and seen Lieutenant Sweeny and he wanted mee to come up to day Ben and I are a going aftr we right orur letters ther is nothing a going on her of any im portanc only it is very mudy Give my Best wishes to mis Gipson and Jesse Philips and Wm Horner and tell them that I am much a blige to them for the things that they sent mee and also to youns for the nice things youns sent mee /
