Camp Morrisvill. va.
Dear Father I seat my self this morning to answer your kind letter that I receeveed some days ago and was glad to here from you and to here that you was well your letter found mee well and the rest of the boys the same we just came in Camp last night we was a making a rebble rade on the rapihannic again we was at the union border a suporting the Cavelry they went and mad the rebs burn the 2 gun boats that they Captured from us i seen Harvy Van Vores he is a major in the 18 P V Cavelry /
There is nothing of any im portance agoing on at this time I still remain your
