seat my self this morning to answer your kind Letter which i receeveed some days ago and was glad to here from you and to here that you all was well your letter found mee well and the rest of the boys is the same at present we halve right smart of mud here at this present time and we had stick in the mud yesterday it was mead this time in stead of Burnsides the fifth Corps moveed out in front of us and came back you said that you had sent 4 lbs of to Baco to mee I halve only got one of them tell them that they need not send any more invelips now /
 
we think if it keeps wet we will go in winter quarters before long there is nothing of any im portance to wright a bout this time soiwill Close from your
