Dear brither i will try and answer youre letter i recieved some weeks a go was glad to here from you was vearry sarrow to here of paps death but i was expecting to here of it any time when i left there i expect the poor old house looks lonely / well george i have bin sick ever since i came home with my stumach it is neuralsy i cant eat any thing hardly but it hurts me will and John is working on the railroad there is no one at home but me and tom and ben ben is working on the / county road on wolf run right below our house i heard harry is married is he at house keeping ore does he live with his mother how is aggie and her family we have a real nice piece of wheat and nice prospect of a large crop of apples and plums and peaches i will close i want this letter to go in this mail i will have to hurry / so nothing more
