            we are going back to Camp Vermont sow I have sleept either in shelter tents or out on the ground since last sunday and am none the worse of for it we have hard crackers and pork and Coffee and sugar but to day we ar cooking beans the first that has been cooked for us for a week I wish we were going to winter here it is a nice place plenty of wood and watter how are you getting along have you got out eny ceder yet / how big has the old hog got to be and how much is pork worth have you sold the oxen yet and the cow how is the colt doing you must give her a few oats the wether is warm here and no mud but when it rains their be enough of it I do not think of much more to write so I will dry up
