Dear Parents we left Bealton Stasion yesterday and are here once more but how long we stop I dont know but one of two things we shall do that to stay here or about here or go the to reenforce General Hooker and it will soon be desided the officers think we shal stay here and keep up the picket line as it is the / most important one there is and the hardest to cross as it runs along the Ocaquon and Bull Run rivers Bull Run in th to the Orcaquon a few miles below here we are encamped on a hill about half a mile from whare we was when we left here it is not a very good place but I think we shall move soon if we stay about here I wont write eny more till tomorrow as I cannot send till then
