Dear friend I take this opertunety to riting yow afew lines to let yow now that I am well at presant and hoping yow are the Same my friend we are at Louisvill Kentuckey in camp and we exspect to leave here now pirty soone but we are a going to goe to Lisebth town it is a bout 45 or 50 milles from Luisvill but there is a bout 60 thousand rebls there & we have got a bout one hundard thousan trupes here soe we are a going to surround old butler at bolen Green now pirty soone but I dont now wether we are a going for surton or not for Curnel Morow is gon to Washington Sitey now / but we dont dont now how soone he will be back a gain going but we are a tring to get him in as Bregadear Jenral if we can Mr Cogle Mr Cogle there is trups a coming in here every day

Mr Cogil hit is with grate pleaurs to me to ad dress you in my ways of affairs Mr. Cogil we have the best of times here theare is one hundred thousand troops hear and coming in Dayley but we dont now how soone they will be done a coming in here but we exspected to goe to Lisebeth town pirty soone for there is a bout 60 thousand Rebls there but we exspeck to goe down & eate them up alive with lead & pouder for we feell liket just now.
