Dear Brother I take the plashure of ancering youre kind letter well Lurestin youre kind letter came to hand on the 16 of the month it found me well at presant well Lurestin we have got order to go to memfus and we are a going to go up to nashvill to take the Boat for to go to memfus but Lurestin we was out on picket guard the other night and we staid out one night but we didant get trubled with the / Rebles a tall but there was one of the cornels taking presniers but Lurestin Alfes Jones was here with me oll night & he belongs to the 18 Reglars he is in the same compney that Bill Robins is in but tell thomas Strall that Jack McGeth is a getting well I herd from him he is at Green River I think but tell me when yow write where danal edgston is but Lurestin oll the Barnesvill Boys is well at presant onley charles liles he took sick the other day he / eat a good meney eggs and he is in Nashvill in the hospital but Lurestin when yow write tell me oll the news write soon direct to Nashvill Tennessee in care of capt J H Wing Co B 3d ohio regt
