Respeted Father I take the pleaisure of ancering youre kind and welcom letter of the 8 it came to hand on the 14th it found me well at presant and I was on guard in town at the beag Spring when capton wing gave me the letter and I was glad to hear from yow and that yow had plenty of work to do but I wish that I was thare to help yow but I wood like to no wot / kind of work yow haft to do but yow ought to of quit trusting long time a go and I would not strike a nother lick if I was yow with out thay wood pay me but yow get them books of yours setteld up and if thay wont pay yow take and drow them up to the Squirs office and then thay will pay but tell fat Fouler that I will be there pirty soon to make him a flat headed nail to put in his wagon but pap I way a bout one hunderd sixty pounds / that wot I waid the other day but I havent never plaid cards nor don eney thing rong well pap William Robins is her with us now he is a coming home on a fer low so he sed but pap her is the kind of money thay hav down her I thought that I wood send yow a five cent Crip. but pap we will get paid of in a few days I am a going to send yow 40 dollars moore tomey sed he wood rite to yow before long and he sed that he was a hos or a mare but tomey sent 75 dollars home to Hannah and / dan Starkey well pap tell O O Barnes when he comes to Barnesvill to recruit to bring web Folger and yow try to get him to come I wood like to have him her to Stand ggard guard with me for I no I wood train him and tell him wot to do but I want you to send me some small letter paper and evelops but send me a few stamps so no more at presant write soon to William R Moore
