Dear Brother I take the pleaisure of ancering your kind and welcom letter of the 21 it came to hand on the 4 I was very glad to hear from yow that yow was well but this leavs me well and hoping when these lines come to hand thay may find yow enjoying the Same Blesings
 
well Lurestin I havent not got much news to rite at presant onley we left Tyree Springs on the / 3d and now we ar in camp near Nashville Tenn and I think that oure Breegade will be provost guard in Nashville and I hope it is tru but I am a working at my trade now and a making money but ther is $52 dollars a coming to me now and I think that I will get it pirty soon but Lurestin I want to no wher Elias Clark is and wher Jessey White is and Old Man barr and W H Folger and tell me wether pap has Sold that mill or / not and I want yow to tell Johney to rite and Billey fouler to but I want to no the reason that John Williams dont rite
