My Darling little Wife
I have just a moment in which to drop you a line I am going to start for Milwaukee this morning to see about buying my stock of goods. I have not heard from Fields yet shall see him this evening. Fannie I will enclose Ten Dollars (all the small bill I have got.) for you to purchase butter. if you need any more write and let me know. I left Lotties foot stove over there in the stable if you think of it when you come home please bring it along. I expect I shall be gone about a week perhaps / a little longer. a letter came last evening for you from Sarah I [ink blot] guess. I will not send it over to you for you will probably see her soon. but Fannie dear breakfast is ready and I must close please give my love to all. I am as lonesome as a dog without you. seemes as if I had lost all my friends. but good by, God bless and keep you. accept much love from
