My Darling Mamma.
                                    I am sitting in Mrs Browns Parlor at the Window that looks toward home. it looks verry lonesom over there. I hope you wont get sick. try and keep all the sight seening in your mind to tell me when you get home.
 
            yesterday Sadie and I took the key up to Mrs Finnices and then I came over to Mrs Browns and looked at some pictures and after I got through I / made A Card-case For Mrs. Brown and then she gave me more pictures and I put them in the Card-case, and then I went up to aunties to play an hour.
 
            I red A storry. Mrs Brown got home late to dinner. I have A pleasant time hear. this morning they was snow on the ground. I went down to Miss Jacks last night with Mrs. Brown. I am well.
