                                    haveing nothing to Busy myself About to day I will write you A few lines to let you know that we have Again got back to the feild We are camped for the present in lookout valley Near Chattanooga Shall probaly stay hre untill the Army makes A forward movement wich I think will be soon We are haveing rather unpleasant weather here now it Raines most evry day We have been prety Busy the most of the time since we came here drilling and shooting at tarket We have been shooting trying our new guns We have got twelve pound guns now. We have got so that we can send the shells in prety Colors /
 
I have no knews of interest to write this time I think there will be something going on here before long I hope so at least I hope tha will keep things moveing this summer I heard that tha were going to call out the melitia to do Garrison duty so as to send the troops that are on duty now all to the front if that is done it will make A great differance with the strength of the Army the Report is that the Rebs are geting ready to try us
 
When we commence to Advance if tha stand A fight there will be fun before long have you heard from Sheldens folks lately I have not herd from them in some time I should like to of went and saw them while I was at home but I did not have time I saw the 7th Ohio while we were at Brigport Ala. The / Rhodes boys were there and Also Horace Huntoon their times are most out We have had some prety cold weather since we came back While we were at Brigeport the snow fell one foot deep the most snow we have seen since we have been in the Service
 
I must draw my letter to A close for this time as I must write two or three more to day
