Read Wite and Blue," Poem, undated
Read Wite and blue

Oh Columbia the gem of the Ocean
the home of the brave and the free
the shrine of each patriot’s devotion
A world offers homage to thee.
thy mandates makes heroes assemble
When liberty form stands in view
thy banners makes tyranny tremble
When borne by the read White and blue,
When borne by the read White and blue,
When borne by the read White and blue,
When borne by the read White and blue,
thy banners makes tyranny tremble
When borne by the read white and blue.

When War waged its wide desolation
and threatened our land to deform
the ark then of freedom’s foundation
Columbia rode safe through the storm
With her garland of victory oer her
When she so proudly floteing befour her /
When so proudy she bore her bold crew
With her flag proudy floting befour her
the bost of the read White and blue.
                                    the bost of the read
the Wine cup the wine cup bring hither
and fill it up to the brime
May the Wreath they have Wave never wither
Nore the star of the glory grow dim
may the service unite ne’r sever
and hold to their colors so true
the armey and navey for ever
three cheers fore the read Wite and blue
F F B                           three cheers for the read Wite and blue

[verso, in another hand]
we are going to the Creeak to day
