Camp near Harrisonburg
6 P.M. April 22
Dear Brother
I could not send this letter off sooner and as we had moved on I thought I would write a few lines now We started this morning at 9. Oclock from Camp near New Market and after a march of 7 miles reached here We are now 3 miles from Harrisonburg. I suppose that we will have to cross the Mountain to follow Jackson as it is reported that he has crossed and gone to Gordonsville We are all enjoying good health
Give my love to all the Family
and receive the same yourself
from your aff Bro
