Dear Brother
I am well at Preasant I have got recruted some from the hard march we have had we returned to camp the 11th I am all rite except the rations there is nothing that I can steal in camp to eat I want you to send me 50 lbs of Crackers the first chance faston it up Sollid and I will have some Pay before long that I can Squair up with you also send me 10 lbs of sugar Muscovado sugar send the cheapest crackers and sugar and some Paper and Envelops also some short cut tobaco sow up a little sack and put the tobaco in and put a paper around it so it wont mix with the other things 2 lbs will be enough / write as soon as you get this and let me no about it Pleas tell me what the Express charges is and the whole thing
