Dear Ann I now take my pen to let you know that I am yet alive and well I received a letter from you day before yesterday and one from Mr Henrey Matson the same time and was very glad to hear that you and the Children wer well I suppose that you have changed your place of residence do you think of changing your name now Nila dont you care aney thing about what I write for you know that it is a great trait in me to plage some one if I can but you know me and truly Nila I would not wound your feelings for they are still bleeding over the trials that you have ben called to pass through but trus in god /
 
the letter that that I got from Mr Matson was a good one and I was very glad to hear from him he says that fathers folks feel very bad but he thinks that if I write to them often that they will feel better and so I shall write them once a weak as longe as I can and EM will write when he pleases he has ben rather unwell for a day or two but feels better now thare is some sick but not dangerous we have cold nights and warm days down hear thear has ben no frost as I have seen yet but it has ben cold aneough to have some 2 or 3 days but it has cum off very nice and warm now Hamley had a box and EM they both came the same day and now we live like the pigs in the clover and / now when you write I want you to let me know how long after the letters are mailed before you get them I dont think you have got all that I have sent but I dont know and if you know whear Henery is write and let me know I have not heard aney thing from him since he left Arlington hights and I should like to know wheather he is dead or alive if you know so pleas write if you know aney thing of his whearabouts all though you have left the house whear we have spent maney happey hour in reading and preying I hope that you will still call uppon him that will shureley hear the cry of them that call on him in faith now may god bless you A N Hubbard
