Dear Nila I was thinking that as I had time to write a few lines that I would send them to you and let you know that I am still alive and well all the windsor boys are well now we have had inspection this morning I have never had aney thing said to me a bout my gun or clothes and I dont mean to the weather is fine and warm thear is not much nuse to write we shall have dress perade to night and probaley a short sermon and prayer oh what would I give to engoy one of those prayer meetings that we use to have in the bush but no those hours are passed never more to be engoyed / but wh I think that god has said that those that come unto him he will in no wise cast out then I think thare is room for all and I thank god that he has dun so much for me and mine and I tell you Nila you cant think how mutch I prise that little volome of gods holey promises and I hope that you will continue to trust in god and prey on
