Well how do you do this morning Mrs Hubbard and how are those little ones all smart I hope probabley you know before this time what I am a bout that is if you have got my last letter well I am still in the coock house I was Detailed for one weak but before that was out the orderley told me that he wanted me to stay for they have stuff that they can eat and drink I told him that I would stay as long as they wer satisfide but when they found falt then I should leave / but enough of this my health is good never was better weighing 158 pounds without vest or Coat Erastuses health is good and the rest are all well Newton Whittmans health is not very good the boys ar out in the woods to worck but how long we shall stay hear I dont know some say that we shall stay hear but one thing I do know that we had martching orders last weak but wheather we shall go or not I cant tell but shall know when we start and I am trying to do my dutey to man and god I received your letter in due season and have received one from mother last weak she said that Nettie was as happey as can be and a good girl you dont know how / glad I am to hear that my Children are good and are learning to be usefull in this world and I prey that they may be bright and shining lights in the world to cum you dont know how thankfull I am when I hear from home and hear that you are all well and try to searve the lord and I hope and prey that we may meet again and once more lift our voises in prayer and prais to him that holds our lives in his hand if we leave hear I will write you as soon as I find out when and whare we are aney way as soon as I find out that we are going I will write you a few lines aney way I must close now yours Truley

Jan the 14 as I have ben writing to fathers folkes I thought that I had forgotten to write you about that money that father wanted I think that you had better let him have it if you think best and take a note for it so that you will have something to show that you let him have it that is all
