Feb. 11th. 1863
I have a few moments to write so I thought I would inform you I arrived here safe and found evry body here. Our camp is about two miles from town Major Paldi commg”. I think we will leave here the last of next week. I wish you would have Abram’s print one doz more pictures and send them to me tell him to be carefull and not spot them. also have Schnider make me a pair of riding boots one size larger than my measure and send them to Sorin Pulver also send Franks blanket and / I can get them when the regt goes East. All this is with the proviso if you can pay for them. I cannot until I arrive in Washington D. C. Bye the way their is a letter in the office for me but it’s of no account you need not send it. I must close for this time Remember me to all enquireing friends. Direct your letters
