I now squat to drop you a few lines to let you know that I am well and hope these few lines will find you all eight hands up and around It rains here as hard as ever it can by spells a little comes and it freazes as it comes and makes it quite bad for man or beast Tim I have not got the box of boots yet you sent for me last knight one of the teems went to head Quarters after the express Boxes but the one you sent was not there and so at youre request I now write to let you know so you can make it / with the Company
The Boys are well with the exception of a few that has got the to the rear open order march
About the box it may of ben delayed somewhere on the rout still I think it would be best for you to notify the agent that it has not come through yet
I must now bring my letter to a conclusion for I have got some fore or five to write and I dont not write mutch as there wont be enough to go around
