Eavning Seat my Self once more to try to answer your very kind and welcomed letter which I received last week I was glad to hear that you was well. we are all well and doing the best we know how and I hope when those fiew loins reaches you they may find you enjoing the best of helth and I am thank to in form you that we got a letter from Jim last week and he is well and doing the fine for a Soldier
Well Jim I hardly know what to write but if I could see you this Eavning I could tell you a heep more than I can write Well Jim I will have to quit and go and set up with a little / sick child to knight I will finish to morrow
Well Jim this is Tuesday morning and wee are all well but I feel rite sleepy for I set up purtneer all knight Well I was sorrow to here that your Brother was wounded
but I hope he will get well a gain tell him I send him my best respects and hope he will be spared to return home a gain Oh Jim I would love to see you so well this morning and spend a fiew hours with you but cant but I hope the time is not not far distent that you can com home to enjoy the pleasure you once did Well Jim it is the opinion of all that the war is nearly played out and I do hope it is for I would like to see the Soldiers com home so well once more Well I must tell you that I am a going out home / in a bout a month to see all of the folks out their know I would like to see mother rite well for it apears like a long time since I saw hur I got a lettter from pap last week they are all well and well Sadesfied Som times I think I cant wate much longer to go but I will have to stay till the first of march
Well Jim I can tell you wee have not got any butternut in toun they are all good union pepol little Mack is gon up so they are all Lincoln men the bigest Rebbels know say that war will be over in Six months Well Jim Sarah is wating on me to go with hur to Mr gabberde so I will have to quit for this time you must excuse me for not writing more this time and I will do better next time I was at Sol Naugles last week they are all / well
