My dear brother and Sister it is with the greatest of pleasure that i take my pen in hand to write afew lines to you to let you no that we are Still on the land of the living but not all well Milton is Sick and has been for most to weeks but he is beter now but not able to set up yet he had the long tipod fever and Jimmy is Sick in the louisville hospitle with the tipod fever and pap is gone after him and he dont know that milton is sick but Jim is beter now we got aleter a thursday he has been there for too weeks or more we got a leter from albert a friday he is well and harty well bill we had a big meeting / to weeks a go to day and i found and eight more and is to be baptised next meeting, on Sunday billy batt Joined and to of daveses boys and one of daves girls the younges of the girls and Mrs Hugates to girls and miss bill Celso and me. well bill and Sarah lizer batt and Jim pickler is maried. Well Mr Hubbards is well but Em has got so Smart that She wont Speak to me any more Jane richardson is here and lidy and em Hubbard and Jane has fine times not Speaking to me but i dont care i am as good as ary one of them well bill i guess there will be a weding up to father Bressies be fore long for Mary Jane has got her weding Clothes She is a going to be maried to martin fults She got her weding Clothes a new years day betsy tersy Seen her by it She got a dress that cost 40 cents a / yard and new Shoes and Stockings So i guess there will be a weding be fore long
Sunday eavning milton is Still better he hasent got mutch fever this eavning we got a leter from albert a friday he is well and hart and he Said that Some bodys cows come around that give milk and he went to the old Stable and got some oats and fed them and then went to milk and he got a canteen full and a bout a galon over he is in the camp hospitle attending to the sick well i must come to a close for the preasnt for em and Jane has not gone home yet mother is not agoing to write any this time So good by for the preasant write son soon and often ex cuse bad writing
