Dear brother and Sister
inow take my pen in hand to write afew lines to you to know how iam iam not well ihav been Sick for fore or five days would like to see you all the best cind but icant now iwant to go home this week on A furlow to see the folks and eat peaches Wee came to camp on monday and this is Sunday Wee are camped at camp Sulliven at indinapolis but idont think wee will stay here long ithink wee will go to ken tuck in afew days iwish you could come up and see me before ileave here it wont only take too Dollers to come up and go back one Doller / up and one back So iwant you to come if you can ihave enlisted for three years or during the War iwould liked to see that girl of yours the best cind i iwas agoing to come out there instead of going to war and iwish ihad the camp life dont Suit me iam tired of it aready itell you it aint like home no sir inever have found that plase yet that is like home but ihave to Say here now a icant go and come when iplease and that goes hard with me for ihave been youst to going and coming when iplease So it goes hard with me icant think of any thing to write about So imust come to aclose for this time So no more at presant yours truly Robert H Forder
