Dare sister with respect I pick up my pen to drop you A few lines in answer to your kinde and welcom leter that came to hand to day it found tolarable well but my wife is very bad she has not set up A halfe A dy at once in too months I was glad to hear you was all well and doeing well well sarah I went and sene Mr Butler this eavening he sais you doant nead any sertificate of your marage that is on record at the city of washington he gave me this leter to send to you and he said that would be all you would neade so I cant give tell you any thing moare A bout that /
Well Sarah you wanted to no whether I have all of my children with me or not I have not Evey & Emy ar not with me I have bin trying to get homes for doleia and Nancy all falle and winter if I could get homes for them I would not stay in this state one weake longer well I must close soone but A few words for sister emly well Em I will attende to your buisnes the first time that Mr Mc comes to towne but I doant no just now when his regular time is but I will see him when he comes I will close by saying rite soone I hope to remaine your loving brother un tell deat I ask an interest in your preyrs From youre brother
