Dear Friend
I seat my self to inform you I am well and hope that these few lines may find you enjoying the same blessing of health
Rachell received your letter last night it foud her well and in good health you said that you took the marks home with you I told you you would well I hope they will get well and all wright /
I never thought about writing till I comenced well the boys and girls is all well and in good health they are a having a good time there was a good meeting here last night it lasted one week and got about 20 to join I will not give there names it is of no use Pa has gone to the river and I am staying in the store Bide is all write I believe he got kicked by a horse the other day but it is a bout well he has got his red neck / tie well I have wrote a long letter and I will quit by saying write soon and often as ever your
true and loved friend
give my Love to all the union girls of the City and tell me their names write as soon as you get this letter and write often from your friend
