Dear Sister it is with plesure that I take mi pen in hand to inform you that I have not forgotten you yet tho I supose that you think I have but I often think of you and all the rest of the foalks a speciley pap I would like to no what is the matter with him and what he is mad at us a bout and what we have dun and all a bout it I no that I have always tride to treat him as well as I could and if I have mistreated him in enney way it was not dun intentienaley /
well Sarah I recken that you think that it is a bout time for me to send you a note or money won well you make out a note and send it and I will sine it I am on a trade for a farm of 120 acors threequarters of a mild east of town but I dont know whether I will git it or not all that splits the trade is the first payment he wantes 1000 down and I dont know whether I can rase it or not I have twenty head of cattle that I can offare and mabey two horses and forehundred bushels of corn and if we do trade there wont be arey other payment doe for two years but I am a fraid that I wont git it well I must close for this time as it is / a gitting late by saying that this leaves us all well and we hope that it will find you all injoying the same blessing So good night pleas wright soon and often
