Pickled Peaches
3 bls of Sugar 1 pint of vinegar
dissolve with heat put in the
Peaches whole and Boil them
a few minutes put the
Peaches into a bottle and Pour
on the Pickle three Clove should
be inserted into Each Peach before
they are scolded
Spruce Beer 5 gallons of
watter 5 lbs sugar Essence
of spruce 2 tablespoonsful a
teacupful of East let the water
be slightly warm and in a few
hours it will be ready to bottlle
molasses may be used
