My Dear Nila I now take my pen to write you a few lines to let you hear that I am yet alive and well and hope that this will find you the same I received yours of the first to day and was glad to hear that you wer all well and I hope that you will continue so till you shall have finished your worck I hope that you may live maney years yett to come and I hope that I shall see you this spring but cant tell how that will be it will cost some 20 / dollars but that I dont care afo about aney way I shall try and see what I can doe you think that I am prettey uppish because you had got a baby well to tell you the truth a bout it I did not like it first rate but still you know that I shall not make much fus about it if you will keep still and let it rest and let Henry have it but I dont think that you had better keep her mutch longer you write that you dont think that your health is as good as it was when I left home now I want you to take care of your self / and especialey of your health for what should I do if you should fail but I hope for the best tell father and Mother and Charles that I thank them all very mutch and tell Rila and Nett not to fight for I will kiss them both when I cum thear must be a letter for you that you have not got or had not at the time that you wrote the letter that I got to day pleas send the money 2 dollars as soon as you get this if you dont get that I must close now and may the blessings of god be and abide with you all yours Truly
