Well Nila Dear I now take my pen in hand to let you know that I received yours of the 18 and hasten to answer it I was glad to hear that you wer all well and I hope that your health and life may be spaird and that we may one day be permitted to meet on earth I received a letter from mother to day they have rather hard times dont they I have sent you 10 Dolars and have sent 10 dollars to fathers folks and asked them to give you a Note and about your going over thare to stay I dont know / what to tell you but I think you know better than I do what is best for you to do for you know how you gettalong and I dont that is I dont know what you suffer but I hope not very bad and I trust that you would let me know pleas write me as soon as you get that money perhaps I shall be at home some time this summer but cant tell how it will be so you kned not loock for me For when I come I shant know it till the day that I start so I cant write and let you know but you can be readey all the time and then when I come all will be readey / you know what I shall want the most of the time and I shall expect you will be acomodating tell Nettie that I thank her very mutch for that gum and I want you to do your best for them and trust in god they say that we shall stay whear we are or near hear give my love to all
