Dear Brother
It is with mutch pleasure that I now take my pen in hand to rite a line to you, to let you know that we are all alive and in good health, witch I hope that this will find you the same. we are still at a good camp along the Rapahanock river, but I have no news to tell you as jonathan has rote to you and I think told you all / what was a going on here. I will get you for to send us too of Kearneys patches. they are a square red patch, and too sets of nombers, or to fortys and too C. if you please. I think that you can get them aroung in some of the stores. then you could send them out in some paper or other. we are for to have a review to day at 5 oclock P.M. you will finde in this the amount of ten dollars witch I should of sent before. / I have will have to close for I can not think of any thing else to rite so no more at presant. (rite soon).
