Dear Flora
                        Acording to promise I now seat my selfe for the purpus of writing you a few lines to let you know I am still in the land of the living and enjoying my selfe fine I dont know of any news to write that will interrest you but I will do the best I know how I was to a Dance last night and they had 3 fights and I thought my girl / would catipllow[?] but she did not And more than that she aint B well you know what. this is a lonesome day in Crestline I wish I was doun in Morrow Co some place. well I hate to say wheare for fear you would laugh at me. Well Florance I sopose you and Matt are together to day some place I wish I was there two give my best Love Matt when you see her and tell her to write to a poor Cuss in in Crestline like me Florance if it was not for M Newman I beleave I would get home sick but I tell you she is lively she calls me her well I will tell you when I come doun I will be at Hens or Dans next Sunday I want / you and Matt to be there shure I am going to Dayton Tuesday and from there to the fair M says she will go if I will take her I will think of it and then go all alone. George Snyder said he would be here to day but I guess he lied or else he keeps himselfe verry scarce well I sopose you will get tired of reading this foolishness so I will close by sending my best love to you and all enquiring friends if any write soon to your Cincere friend and
