Boy Alick to report to you for
duty,  keep him with you, & bring
him back here when you return
I have just received a dispatch
from Capt. Pendleton.  he is in want
of Beef at this time.    let there be
 no delay whatever in delivering
him a herd at the very earliest
possible moment.  be very careful
& have all the people notified about
their Beeves & bring me a list of the
Brands & owners.   drive no beef that
you do not know the owner of.
