i once more take my pen in my hand to let you no that i am well and i hope this will find you the same i got my Box yestaday and i got your letter this morning and was glad to hear from you and to hear that you was all well that Black Bottle was about as goo as enything that was in the box it seemed good to have something to eat for i hadent had nothing But hard crackers and coffee for a week that is such foder as a solger gits i haint eny war news to rite this time they are al still here now i hurd last / nite that old jef was wating for lincon to come to some turmes and see if they cant settel up that is al ican think of to rite this time so i will close by saying good by rite as soon as you git this from
