Dear Friends
            I am getting better quite fast. So father need not mind about comming this contradicts very much what I have written on the other side but I cant help it. Father you need not come. But you can send the Boots and othere things cant mother send me of her perserves & a bottle of pickles the other box has not come yet I suppose that it is paid clear through. Major Starr went through here on his way to see a bout getting Enfield Rifles for the Regt The regt is at Springfield / a throwing up embankments at present I believe that Regt were in good health generaly. they have good water there. You must consider this as two letters. be sure and send the book and other things if you can I dont that there is any use of Fathers a coming at tall If you send the things. This is all this time answer soon
