I got your leter some time a go it found me quite sick with the ager but I am beter I can eat my rations with out any troble now I was vary glad to hear from you but I would like to see you much beter We have a quite a nice time here now We are at fredric city a boute 40 rods off We have bin here a week / we got 100 & 50 new recrutes it makes the 29 look much beter We gard the city now please write soon tell my folks that I am much beter I wade 186 to day I give my best respects to all inquiring
