My Dear Wife i take this opertunity to rite to you to let you know that i am well and hope this may find you the same i recivd your letter stating that you recivd the 40 forty dollars i sent you Julia ann said you ware very sick and also fanna was sick Josep Flemming was hear to see his son William and i gave him som mor money for you William Fleming is a gradeal better to day give my love to William Egee and allso his wife i have not got much time to rite or i wold rite to him tell him to rite and let me know how things is thair tell mother i got plenty of soop and burnt at that give my love to John and all the famley
