Well Nila how do you do this morning well I hope and teough for I am keeled up with a sore throat it has ben sore for a most a week has ben so sore that I could not swalow aney thing but water or some drink but it is better I think a little to day I ate a little hash this morning and have stewed some of those Berries and gave the berries to the boys and drinked the juise Oh Nila I got a letter from J D French yesterday he says that when he gets married / and says we shall have one of the front seats so you may expect to se a great weding well how are you getting along and how is mother's side and back my arm is amost as good ever but is not near healed yet it is about half as large as when you last dressed it but it is weak yet but gains every day Ben Barley one of the cooks came in hear last night and he said he would bring me some of their breakfast so I got some hot hash and good coffy well I must close but by the way dont worry about my throat one toncil is swelled
