Camp near Sandy Hook Md.
 Octo 22. 1862
 
I           Division and Brigade Quartermasters will make a full and accurate return to this office of the means of transportation in their respective Divisions and Brigades     upon Blanks herewith furnished. Every column of the report will filled—the   vacant space by a Cypher.
II         They will so distribute the accompanying blanks that each Regimental      Quartermaster shall have at least one Copy
III        Any Quartermaster failing to report on or before 6 O'Clk PM. on the 24th inst. will    be reported for disobedience of Orders—
IV        The Quartermaster (or in case there be no quartermaster the Commandant) of each            Battery will furnish within same period like report of the means of transportation      &c. in use by his Battery as called for by the Chief Qr Mast of the Army of the           Potomac.
V         Division and Brigade Quartermasters will each report the name of his respective          Commanding Officer.
